Enea Lebrun

Enea Lebrun is a French photographer and videomaker based in Panama. She works as a correspondent for international agencies such as Reuters and Getty Images, and has collaborated with media including BBC, Les Echos, and Context, among others. While primarily reporting from Panama, her assignments have taken her across South America. Her recent coverage includes the presidential elections in Venezuela and Panama, the ongoing migration crisis in the Darién Gap, and broader geopolitical issues such as the Panama Canal’s role between the U.S. and China, and reverse migration flows.

In her personal work, Enea focuses on long-term documentary projects exploring environmental and social issues—especially those connected to bodies of water. Her first photobook, Jenené (2023), was featured in a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama and shown in group exhibitions at renowned festivals including Les Rencontres d’Arles (France), PhotoEspaña (Madrid), and Fotofestiwal (Poland).
